Our aluminium boot scooter of choice for our hire fleet is Motion Healthcare's Alumina. This is a premium scooter that is extremely light, features a long 15 mile range, and has suspension for added comfort.
It can be dismantled easily into five pieces, with the heaviest one weighing just 10kg - far lighter than basic steel-frame boot scooters that usually require lifting 15+kg at a time. The lithium battery in particularly is extremely light - it can be lifted with one finger!
Front and rear suspension provide a much better ride than you would expect on a boot scooter, smoothing out the bumps and jolts of uneven pavements and pathways.
The flat deck of the Alumina provides a deceptive amount of legroom despite its compact size, meaning that even taller people can use the scooter in comfort.
