The TGA Zest S Mobility Scooter is an upgrade of TGA's Zest Plus, featuring the addition of a high-back seat that provides further support, and an improved weight capacity of 26.5 stone. It is a medium sized scooter offering increased comfort over small boot scooter courtesy of its suspension and chunky pneumatic tyres, and is also more roomy - ideal for taller or heavier people.
It can be dismantled into six pieces for transport in the back of a vehicle, although as a larger scooter it does weigh more than conventional boot scooters, and requires more boot space to fit into your car.
The Zest S also features a wraparound delta tiller than is ergonomically designed, front and rear LED lights, and a USB charging port. It is available in a choice of six colours - green, red, orange, blue, silver, and white.
Our Verdict
The extra comfort of the Zest S's large seat is worth upgrading from the Zest Plus for, if you have the space in your car to fit the bigger seat, and are able to comfortably lift it. We would also recommend looking at the Rascal Vista, as the Vista DX version features a similar high-back seat, can be dismantled for transport, and has a whopping 34.5 mile range.
