Rascal's Vista and Vista DX are medium sized scooters designed for day trips in comfort. With larger wheels and enhanced suspension they offer outstanding comfort compared to small boot scooters. Despite this, they can still be dismantled for transport in a car, although they are obviously heavier than smaller scooters, so we would recommend them only being transported for occasional trips.
The Rascal Vista Mobility Scooter has a small seat to save weight, as well as 35 Ah batteries for a 24 mile range. These batteries are cleverly split, so they can be lifted separately to save on effort.
The Rascal Vista DX Mobility Scooter has a larger captain's seat for enhanced comfort, as well as 50 Ah batteries for a 34.5 mile range; it is slightly more expensive as a result.
Both scooters have a choice of bright orange or blue shroud colours to complement their modern design, a delta tiller with charging port, and a choice of comfortable pneumatic tyres or puncture-proof solid tyres.
Our Verdict
The Vista is similar to TGA's Zest Plus or high-back seat Zest S, and Pride's Revo 2.0, and we would recommend trying each of these to see which you prefer. The DX is a little different with its larger seat and longer range, and is for those after the most comfort and range available from a transportable scooter.
