The Pride Apex Alumalite Plus Mobility Scooter is an upgraded version of the best selling Alumalite, featuring the addition of full suspension to provide a much more comfortable ride. You'll really notice the difference over bumpy pavements - no more "rattling around", as you enjoy a smooth ride.
Aluminium Frame
As with the Alumalite, the Alumalite Plus features a full aluminium frame, instead of the traditional steel one. This makes a significant difference to its weight, making it much easier to lift into and out of car when travelling. It is over 15 kg lighter than the steel-framed equivalent Apex Rapid, and the heaviest piece weighs just 11.6 kg.
The Lithium batteries make them easy to lift - no more struggling to lift a hefty battery box for charging. They are also flight-safe for when travelling on a plane. The standard 12Ah batteries provide a good 11.5 mile range, but can be upgraded to 30Ah batteries for a massive 28 mile range.
The Alumalite Plus features a stable design with plenty of legroom, easy to use controls, and good sized 8" wheels at front and back. The curved delta tiller and redesigned ergonomic throttle levers are comfortable and easy to operate.
