Repose Multi C-Air Rise and Recline Chair is one of our most popular healthcare chair, and its versatility is such that we picked it for our hire fleet of rise and recline chairs. It is available either as an Express chair for those whose need is urgent and would fit comfortably in one of the standard sizes, or as a fully Made to Measure chair.
Both single motor and dual motor tilt in space variants are available. Both can be raised to aid standing and sitting, and laid back into a comfortable position, which aids pressure redistribution. The dual motor features independent backrest recline and leg rest elevation as well, to provide more flexibility over positioning.
The Made to Measure version benefits from a choice of sizes, six backrest cushion options and nine seat cushion choices including memory foam, gel and air, to ensure it matches your needs. Other options include different headrests and armrests.
All fabrics are waterproof and can be removed for cleaning. A range of hundreds of different fabrics, including a vast choice of colours, patterns and finishes, are available to personalise your chair to your liking.
Our Verdict
The Multi C-air is not significantly different to conventional rise and recline chairs such as Repose's Rimini. The main difference is the fabrics and cushioning, which are focused on reducing the risk of skin breakdown, and are easy to clean.
If you need a porter chair that can be moved from room to room, then the Brooklyn and Madison are the porter equivalents.
