The Rehasense Icon 35 LX Wheelchair helps to promote good posture through the use of the ergonomically shaped backrest and seat. The armrests can be adjusted in height - rarely seen on wheelchairs of this cost - which helps to provide the proper support for the user's arms and shoulders. Until you've sat in a wheelchair with the armrests too high or low, this is hard to appreciate - but it does make a real difference to comfort.

The Icon 35 features a lightweight aluminium frame, weighing just 9.2 kg - while not quite the lightest on the market, it is noticeably lighter than most wheelchairs you will encounter. It folds up conveniently for transport, and features a handy carrying handle - a feature overlooked on most other wheelchairs.

Seat widths of both 16 and 18 inches are available to cater to people of most sizes. The Icon 35 LX comes as a transit wheelchair only, and is ideal for pushing with its light frame and attendant brakes. It also features step pedals as standard to aid going up kerbs.

The Icon 35 LX is a good value wheelchair, offering more in terms of comfort than basic wheelchairs while retaining a relatively low cost. It's smartly designed, with a modern ice blue frame and two-tone upholstery. For a lighter wheelchair, Karma's popular 

 is available, but this lacks the adjustable armrests.
