The Rascal Vortex Mobility Scooter is the top-performing Rascal scooter, a "bigger brother" to the best-selling 

. It features a 900 Watt high-torque motor, giving it that extra power above and beyond its competitors, backed up by the Max Grip limited slip differential gearbox. The robust, sturdy chassis lets the Vortex offer a hefty 28.5 stone weight capacity, while large 75 Ah batteries give it an impressive range of 26 miles. These can be upgraded to massive 100 Ah batteries, providing an incredible 34-mile range if desired.

The Vortex can comfortably accommodate those of all shapes and sizes, thanks to its highly adjustable seat and tiller. This ensures you can always find a comfortable sitting position, whether tall, short, slender or large. The captain's style seat is ergonomically shaped and well padded, featuring lumbar support, a headrest and adjustable armrests.

Performance suspension gives a great ride and combines well with the large pneumatic tyres. These run-flat RunOn tyres will get you home even in the unlikely event of a puncture, ensuring you never get stranded.

Aside from the smaller Vecta Sport, there's nothing else out there that looks like the Vortex. It has a unique, sophisticated styling to it, with a sleek tiller, modern LED lighting, sporty wing mirrors and attractive bodywork. A choice of two striking colours is available - titanium blue and metallic heather. Both look exceptional.

The waterproof superfast USB charging port is another luxury feature on the Vortex, allowing you to charge your mobile when on the go.

An optional solid canopy is available that is designed specifically for the Vortex, ensuring it fits well and doesn't compromise on looks. A compact top box comes as standard with the solid canopy, and optional roll-up sides are available as well. Both options are on the Motability scheme, allowing you easy access to an all-weather scooter.

The Vortex is a premium scooter for those after a model that blends style, power and performance while keeping you in the utmost of comfort. While cheaper models are available that are superficially similar, the drive on the Vortex is outstanding and needs to be tried.
