Quickie Q700 M HD Powerchair

The mid-wheel powerchair experience just went up a level with the introduction of the Quickie Q700 M HD, now available for users up to 250 kg. The 4-pole high torque motors provide for a top speed of 5mph and 60 or 80 Ah batteries, allowing for a range of up to 15.5 miles.

Product Description

Featuring highly efficient four-pole motors for outdoor performance, this Q700 M HD maintains the same base size and outdoor manoeuvrability of the Quickie Q700 M Powerchair but increases the weight capacity to 250kg and adds sleeker modern lines. The mid-wheel drive technology allows the drive-wheel to be positioned directly underneath the seated position and provides greater traction than front or rear-wheel drives. Its 4 drive wheel can tackle kerbs of up to 75mm.

The SEDEO PRO seating system has been reinforced to accommodate a broader range of seat widths and depths, and armrests and leg-rests have been strengthened. This substantial HD model offers power options like recline and 50⁰ of tilt, ensuring a comfortable experience.

The Q700 M HD offers intuitive driving and excellent manoeuvrability in tight spaces. With its 622mm wide base and 1100 mm turning circle, it manoeuvres smoothly on its axis. It can fit under tables and access Wheelchair Adaptive Vehicles (WAVs) with a low seat height of 415mm.

The Gyro-Tracking System optional feature automatically corrects minor deviations from the user's direction, reducing the need for physical or cognitive actions to maintain a pinpoint accurate drive, especially when using special controls.

The powerchair offers seven accent colours to suit your personality, featuring hidden wiring and components for a sleek, minimalist silhouette. Built-4-Me can customise the wheelchair to fit your unique style, ensuring a striking expression of your individuality.

An onboard HD display and simple paddles allow for intuitive handling. QUICKIE's assignable buttons will enable you to customise the function of a joystick button to any desired command and assign a second (long press) instruction for quicker access to commonly used functions without using the joystick. With Bluetooth technology, you can even control your TV and other devices from the chair.

Another great new feature is the LINK-IT Control Mounting system, which enables attachment of your speciality controls, using rods and modules, to the powerchair.

The Q700 M HD reinforced design offers 50º power tilt, 90-130º power recline, and power swing-away or 90-180º centre-mount leg-rests. It also features QUICKIE's patented assignable buttons, allowing users to easily access power seat options with a touch of a button. This ensures optimal seated position throughout the day.

Our Verdict

The Q700M HD Powerchair's impressive user weight capacity of 250kg opens up the possibility for a broader range of users to enjoy the Q700M Powerchair experience. The robust suspension system makes for smooth, comfortable rides on uneven terrain. The biometric repositioning system for easy seating adjustment, reliable 4-pole motors and flexible controls really provide a great alternative to the Quantum Q6 Edge HD (which has a weight capacity of 227kg). With its sleek lines and hidden wiring, the Q700M HD Powerchair looks good from all angles and comes with a choice of seven accent colours.

Prescriptive powerchairs such as this are built to order following an assessment with one of our Prescriptive Assessors. They are available with a wide range of customisation options, including powered seating functions, cushions and backrests, and drive performance upgrades, and these can affect the price - our Prescriptive Assessors will run through all the options at your assessment. As a general guideline, opting for multiple powered seating functions can add significantly to the cost of the wheelchair; however it is possible to get a fully functioning and desirable chair at the base price!
