Automatically folding powerchairs are a recent development, and the Pride iGo Fold Autofolding Powerchair is a cutting-edge model. Simply touch a button on the remote, and within seconds your powerchair is folded up ready for transport or storage.

Folding powerchairs have revolutionised the market for the ease with which they can be transported - the autofolding iGo Fold takes this to the next level. Once folded up it can be lifted easily into a car - or hoisted in should you have a car boot hoist fitted.

Weighing just 27.8 kg the iGo Fold is a similar weight to other folding models, meaning there are no compromises on having your wheelchair fold up automatically for you. The light Lithium battery pack is a breeze to lift, and is easily removed.

The compact width of the iGo Fold makes it great at manoeuvring around restricted spaces such as shops. It is capable of being driven outdoors although we would recommend paved and flat surfaces when possible - as with most folding powerchairs the wheels are relatively small, so it is not designed for rough terrain.

Available in all-black, the iGo Fold is a good looking chair, and features a convenient travel bag mounted under the seat for personal possessions and shopping.

If you are after the ultimate in convenience for travel, the iGo Fold is the chair to pick. It doesn't quite have the same level of comfort and performance as Pride's 

, but it remains a capable performer, and has an outstanding autofolding mechanism.
