The Pride Go Go Elite Traveller LX Mobility Scooter is a transportable boot scooter, and can be easily dismantled into 5 lightweight parts that can fit in the back of a car. It comes with seat-post suspension to offer a more comfortable ride than that found on most boot scooters, which generally lack any form of suspension. However, it doesn't offer the same level of comfort as the full suspension (on front and rear axles) found on high-end boot scooters such as the Apex Rapid.
The Elite Traveller LX also comes with a number of other handy features, such as a delta tiller, allowing easier control for those with limited dexterity, and a larger front storage basket. An LED light fitted to the front helps ensure that the scooter remains visible. 12 Ah batteries come as standard; for a small extra cost these can be upgraded to larger 17 Ah batteries for a longer range.
Verdict
We've found the LX to be a niche scooter, with most people opting for either basic models such as the standard Go Go Elite Traveller 4 and Apex Lite, or upgrading to the full suspension on the Apex Rapid, TGA Zest and other similar models, which provide a smoother ride. However, it is still a good scooter for those who want something above the most basic models yet also require a more affordable scooter than "luxury" models such as the Apex Rapid.
