A maximum speed of 4 mph is more than sufficient for getting around, while the twin 12 Ah batteries provide all the power the Go-Go Elite Traveller needs. The battery can be removed, allowing it to be charged separately to the main body of the scooter. The four wheels offer stability not found on smaller, three-wheel scooters.
The simple controls are well-suited to those lacking experience with scooters and are easy for a novice to pick up. The scooter can be disassembled easily with no tools required or fiddly parts to disconnect, and its small size means it can be conveniently stored between use.
Options
The Go-Go is available in either red or blue as standard, and an upgrade is available to a high capacity 17 Ah battery for an extended range at a small extra cost.
Our Verdict
The Go Go Elite Traveller 4 is probably the best selling scooter in the UK over the last decade - affordable, simple and reliable. However, we would now normally recommend considering the Apex Lite as an alternative, as this is a more recent update to the Go Go Elite Traveller 4 available at a similar cost. The Apex Lite benefits from the addition of an extra high-level charging port, ideal for those who struggle to bend down to charge their scooter.
If you are looking for a bit of extra comfort then the Apex Rapid is a step up, featuring full suspension for a smoother, less bumpy ride. The Pride Go Go E might be worth looking st too as its more affordable but less portable.
