The impressive all-round suspension and substantial 13" pneumatic tyres ensure smoother rides on uneven surfaces or rugged terrain but the 38 mile range is really the stand-out feature of this well-designed and robust road scooter. The well-padded 53cm wide seat has a luxurious feel and the adjustable armrests and hi-back provide maximum comfort on extended rides.
Manoeuvrability and handling are key features of this scooter. The adjustable tiller and intuitive Delta style controls combine to ensure you're perfectly positioned to ride around comfortably and confidently. And the 176cm turning radius is surprisingly tight for a scooter with an overall length of 146cm.
The LED lighting system and rear view mirrors enhance visibility and safety and the front basket makes for an essential feature on everyday travels.
Built in electromagnetic regenerative brakes bring you safely to a stop putting power back into the batteries whilst you are braking. And the lightweight lithium batteries provide for a significantly longer range than many road scooters without compromising the overall scooter weight.
Our Verdict
At first glance, the appeal of the Pride Pursuit 2.0 Mobility Scooter is obvious - it's beautifully designed and comes in a variety of colours. On closer inspection, it ticks the most important boxes for many of our customers - it's robust, easy to handle, very comfortable and has an outstanding range. The lithium batteries keep the weight of the scooter low and extend the range but some customers prefer a heavier scooter to feel more grounded. With this in mind we often guide customers towards the TGA Vita Sport and TGA Breeze S4 which both offer a 30 mile range.
