The Joerns Oxford Easytrack Portable Hoist can be used as either a temporary, semi-permanent or permanent system, providing a great deal of flexibility in situations where a fixed overhead ceiling track isn't feasible. It is most often installed as a 2-post system for a simple lift in and out of bed, but 3 or 4 post versions allow for more extensive coverage of a room.
The kit is portable and lightweight, allowing it to be transported to other locations when necessary. It particularly excels when space is limited, as it has a minimal footprint - ideal for the smallest of bedrooms and bathrooms. It has great flexibility, with an extending rail design, telescopic posts, and rotating rail connections - versatile enough to fit various different locations and ceiling heights.
The Easytrack needs to be used with the Voyager Portable hoist (second picture. available separately), a simple to use yet reliable lifter with a 31 stone (200 kg) lifting capacity.
Our Verdict
The Easytrack system offers great flexibility, allowing it to fit to a variety of situations. If you are not able to brace your hoist against the ceiling, then the Easytrak FS Gantry is the ideal alternative.
