The Airscape Mobility Scooter is an ideal first mobility scooter, offering the benefits of a travel-friendly lithium battery and portability with affordability.

The scooter has an impressive 135kg weight capacity and will take you around 10 miles on a single charge up to 4mph. This makes for a very versatile, compact scooter which you can take on your travels and store quite easily. Equipped with light and powerful lithium batteries, the Airscape offers the advantages of lithium technology, including a longer life, lighter weight and improved performance.

The 125cm turning radius and 5cm ground clearance makes for nimble scooter that will cope with all kinds of terrain but there's no suspension and the tyres are solid. So, whilst you'll avoid punctures, you might have a bumpy ride on even surfaces. The Airscape's anti-tip wheels enhance safety and stability and the basket comes in handy for everyday trips.

It doesn't fold but the Airscape can be disassembled and the heaviest part is 14.5kg to aid portability and storage. The 2.2kg batteries can be removed from the scooter for charging allowing you to store the scooter itself outside, in a car boot or in a garage.

The Airscape strikes a good balance between functionality and affordability. The Lithilite and Alumina offer more features and will take you much further but it's worth noting that the Airscape is 5kg lighter than the Lithilite which may make it slightly more portable.
