Our fleet of Advanced Configurable Powerchairs is primarily made up of Sunrise Medical Quickie Salsa Ms and Salsa M2s, although we may have other models available if required - please ask if you have an alternate preference.
Our Advanced Configurable Powerchair offers top level outdoor performance with advanced suspension providing a smooth ride over uneven terrain. While some more basic mid-wheel drive powerchairs may struggle on uneven surfaces and ramps, the all-wheel independent suspension allows this wheelchair to negotiate them with ease.
Equally at home indoors, mid-wheel drive allows you to turn on the spot, and the narrow width of the wheelchair means that it can easily fit through doors and confined spaces. While most other powerchairs will offer a compromise between indoor manoeuvrability and outdoor performance, this model is truly able to handle both with ease.
The Advanced Configurable Powerchair is suitable for a wide-range of wheelchair users, with a capacity of 22 stone (140 kg), and fully adjustable seating. As part of the handover process, we will set your wheelchair up precisely for the user, giving them the comfort and support that they need in a way that less-configurable powerchairs cannot rival.
For those with more specialist needs, a vast range of seating options are available, including comfort or pressure-relieving cushioning, backrests, headrests, legrests and lateral supports. Additionally, various powered postural additions can be provided, including powered lift, powered tilt, powered recline and powered elevating leg rests. For some of the more advanced seating functions there is an additional charge.
Our Advanced Configurable Powerchairs are all fully crash tested making them safe for occupied transport when tied down in a suitably adapted vehicle.
