While the WHILL R 4 is an exceptionally stable mobility scooter, and it is more stable than the three-wheeled version, the WHILL R 3. However, the WHILL R 3 is more compact as it has one wheel at the front instead of two wheels. Both scooters perform extremely well in regards to their portability and indoor usage but will cater to users with different priorities.
Users looking for a cheaper alternative similar to the WHILL R 4 could consider the Invacare Leo Mobility Scooter; the Leo is splash-resistant and offers a stable drive. The scooter does not have the stabiliser and suspension duo, steering angle sensor, dual motor system or smartphone app to display your remaining range but the Leo is less costly with a good suspension, excellent 32-mile range and offers durability against the weather at a more affordable price.
