SupaScoota Spartan Li Mobility Scooter

Engineered for performance and reliability, the SupaScoota Spartan Li Mobility Scooter is perfect for the larger person who wants a travel mobility scooter but isn't prepared to compromise on comfort or functionality.

Product Description

For a travel scooter with a weight capacity of up to 190 kg (29.9 stone) the SupaScoota Spartan Li Mobility Scooter offers a pleasantly high level of comfort. A large padded suspension seat and extra legroom provides excellent ride quality whilest retaining the outstanding manoeuvrability and portability we expect from the SupaScoota range.

With innovative features like Electronic Stability Control for added safety when cornering, a tight 100 cm turning radius for manoeuvrability, and a foldable construction for easy transport, the Spartan Li offers a compelling blend of portability, performance, and versatility.

Portability and Design

The Spartan Li can be easily dismantled in a matter of seconds. Whilst the complete scooter weighs 40 kg, once it's dismantled into component parts, the heaviest piece weighs just 12 kg making it remarkably easy to lift and transport. Its compact size and foldable design allow it to be easily stowed in the boot of a car or taken on flights, making it an ideal choice for those who want mobility and independence while travelling.

Power and Performance

The powerful dual motor drive system combined with the suspension seat ensures a smooth and comfortable ride, even on uneven surfaces or outdoor terrain. The Spartan Li can reach a maximum speed of 4 mph, providing a balance between manoeuvrability and speed for indoor and outdoor use and has a remarkably tight turning radius of 100 cm - handy indoors or in limited spaces.

Lithium-ion (Li) Battery

The Spartan Li uses a lithium-ion battery which will take you 8 miles. There is a sealed lead-acid (SLA) battery version (the Supascoota Spartan SLA) with a range of up to 6.2 miles on a single charge. Other than the battery type, battery weight (the SLA battery is 8.6 kg and the Lithium battery 4 kg) and resulting range difference, the key specifications are alike for both versions of the Spartan. This means you get all the features of the Spartan with a battery which takes you further, requires little maintenance, has a longer life-span and is fast charging.

Stability and Safety

One of the great features of the Spartan Li is its Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system. This innovative speed reduction system automatically slows the scooter down when turning corners, reducing the risk of tipping over and providing an added layer of safety and stability. The four-wheel design with front twins contributes to the scooter's manoeuvrability and stability.

Our Verdict

We view the SupaScoota Spartan Li as a remarkable mobility scooter that combines portability, power, stability, and a large weight capacity into a compact and user-friendly package. Its innovative features, such as the Electronic Stability Control, make it a standout choice for those seeking a reliable and versatile mobility solution.
