Express Chair
We picked the Dorchester as our Express chair as it offers outstanding comfort and style with a choice of market-leading mechanisms. We are able to deliver this chair to you much quicker than one of our "made to measure" models, as it comes in three set seat sizes - Petite, Standard and Grande.
Seating Mechanisms
The Dorchester is available in your choice of four motor mechanisms:
Single Motor Tilt in Space - with a wonderfully smooth no-shear recline, and a higher foot elevation.
Dual Motor Tilt in Space - offering independence of the back from the footrest, letting you find the perfect sitting position.
Deluxe Rise Recliner - with the addition of a footrest extension to relax and stretch out completely.
Premier Rise Recliner - the above plus power adjustable lumbar and headrest - not found on other chairs.
Backs
Three backrest styles are available - Letterbox for a traditional appearance, Lateral for the additional postural support, and Waterfall for the ultimate in luxurious comfort. We have found the Waterfall to be the most popular style.
Fabrics
Three fabrics are stocked on the Express models - French Grey, Mocha and Praline. While other fabrics are available, they are built to order and so will take longer to arrive.
Complementary furniture
A range of complementary furniture is available, including sofas, static chairs and pouffes.
