The double cross-brace provides a stronger frame for the Action 4NG, making it better suited to bigger and taller people. This means seat depths of up to 20 inches are available, as well as higher seat heights; ideal for tall people with longer legs, and also for heavier people. While the standard Action 4NG has the same weight capacity of the Action 3NG, there is an HD version with an impressive 25 stone (160 kg) capacity.

Despite this, the double cross-brace only adds 1 kg to the weight of the wheelchair, compared to the Action 3 NG, meaning it stays easy to push, propel or lift.

The Action 4NG is essentially the "big and tall" version of the Action 3NG, featuring a double cross-brace to allow it to cater for higher weight capacities and larger seat sizes. Despite that it remains a light, easily transportable wheelchair that can be bespoke built to match your needs.
