It’s cold outside, Jingle Bells is playing in most shops and Walkers have released brussel sprout flavoured crisps, and that can only mean one thing, the festive season has begun. So now is the time to plan for hiring a wheelchair or mobility product to ensure your loved ones get to spend the most wonderful time of the year with you, in comfort. Here at Wheelfreedom, we will be providing manual wheelchairs across mainland Britain and powered products to London and the South East of England throughout the run up to Christmas.
Our standard next working day delivery service for manual wheelchairs will continue as normal up to Thursday 20th December, these can be booked online, or over the phone. We would recommend, whenever possible, to get your wheelchair delivered before this date, as Christmas is a very busy time for deliveries. There is limited availability for the return of equipment over the Christmas week, so it is recommended to arrange collections for the weeks either side.
Our technicians will be operating a full delivery service for powered wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and tilt in space wheelchairs over the Christmas period, and you can book in a convenient date and time when ordering over the phone. Due to this being an obviously busy time of year, we would recommend getting your order in early to secure your preferred delivery slot.
The office will close from 12pm on Monday 24th December and will reopen on Thursday 27th December. Opening hours will be reduced to 9 am – 5pm on 27 – 28th December. We will be closed for New Year’s Day and reopen for Wednesday 2nd January from which normal office hours will resume.
