The festive season is here again and now is the perfect time to make your plans for hiring a wheelchair if you have any disabled relatives visiting, or if you just wish to get out and about and join the Christmas celebrations yourself. Thankfully Wheelfreedom are delivering wheelchairs nationwide in the run up to the most wonderful time of the year.
Our standard next working day delivery service for manual wheelchairs will continue as normal up to Thursday 21st December, these can be booked online, or over the phone. We would recommend, whenever possible, to get your wheelchair delivered before this date, as Christmas is a very busy time for deliveries, and because of this there is always a risk of delays. There is limited availability for the return of equipment over the Christmas week, so it is recommended to arrange collections for the weeks either side.
Our technicians will be operating a full delivery service for powered wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and tilt in space wheelchairs over the Christmas period, and you can book in a convenient date and time when ordering over the phone. Due to this being an obviously busy time of year, we would recommend getting your order in early to secure your preferred delivery slot.
The office will close from 5pm on Friday 22nd December, and will re-open on Wednesday 27th December. Opening hours will be reduced to 9 am – 5pm on 27 – 29th December. We are closed Saturday 30th December through to Monday 1st January, and will re-open with normal office hours from Tuesday 2nd January onwards.
