Roma Medical has unveiled its new Reno powerchair this month. A UK designed replacement for the popular original Reno model, it features an updated design to make it a standout compact indoor powerchair.
A new frame locking mechanism allows the Reno to be dismantled easily for transport in a car, in much the same way as a boot scooter. Alternatively, the new Reno can be used for occupied transport in a suitably adapted vehicle, having been fully crash tested – unique for a powerchair of its type.
Another new feature is the ability to charge the battery both on and off board, meaning the battery box can be easily removed to charge separate from the powerchair. Having retained the same compact size, this makes the Reno incredibly convenient to store – ideal for those with limited space.
Available immediately, the new Roma Reno can either be purchased or hired on a long-term basis, and is also available on the Motability scheme.
