Easter is now nearly upon us, meaning this is the time to arrange your wheelchair hire should you require one for your holidays. Wheelfreedom will be delivering wheelchairs and mobility scooters in the run-up to Easter, so that you are able to source the appropriate equipment for your mobility needs.
Our regular national deliveries of manual wheelchairs will continue as normal until Thursday 2nd April. If you are looking to obtain a wheelchair in advance of Easter, we would therefore recommend ordering by 4 pm on Wednesday 1st. If you miss this deadline, it will still be possible to book a delivery for Saturday 4th April up to 4 pm on Thursday, although this will incur the standard Saturday delivery surcharge. Please contact us before booking a delivery for Saturday 4th April, so we can discuss the courier service with you.
We will not be delivering on Friday 3rd, although the office will be open between 9 – 4 for those in the London area that wish to collect a wheelchair. The office will also be open on Saturday 19th, but will close on Sunday as usual, and also be closed on Monday 21st. Deliveries will be carried out on Tuesday 7th April - however, these must be ordered by 4 pm on Thursday, so that our couriers have time to process them. Deliveries will then revert to normal from the 8th onwards.
Collections will be carried out as normal on weekdays, excluding Bank Holidays. For powered mobility equipment, we will be delivering and collecting on all weekdays excluding Bank Holidays. Easter is a busy time for us, so we would recommend ordering as soon as possible to ensure that we are able to guarantee you a delivery time.
