The Karma Ergo 125 Wheelchair is an upgraded version of the popular Ergo 115 wheelchair, benefiting from the addition of flip-back armrests to aid transfers. Combined with the swing-away legrests, this makes getting into and out of the wheelchair easier than ever.
It features a lightweight yet sturdy aluminium frame, weighing from just 12.9 kg, and able to take people up to 18 stone (115 kg). Either transit wheels (small rear wheels for the lightest weight) or self-propelled wheels (large back wheels that let the user manoeuvre themselves) are available, with no difference in cost.
The patented S-Ergo seat has a unique shape that maintains good posture by reducing forward sliding, ensuring the occupant remains in a comfortable seated position. A choice of 16 or 18 inch seat widths are available as standard, or a large 20 inch seat for a small upcharge.
Our Verdict
The main attraction of the Ergo 125 over the Ergo 115 is the flip-back armrests - if you need them, it's an obvious choice; if not then the cheaper Ergo 115 is normally the better pick.
