Designed in the UK, the original eFoldi Explorer Mobility Scooter remains a groundbreaking mobility scooter. It is extremely light, highly compact, and is the ultimate in convenience for travel. Your eFoldi features a unique folding design that reduces it to a small, neat and easy to carry shape. It can also be set up for us as a chair when required, and can be easily switched between scooter, chair and luggage.
With a top speed of 8 mph and integrated lights, the eFoldi Explorer can be driven on roads, although we would caution it does not have the same levels of stability and comfort as a conventional full-size road scooter. In particular, if you need more support for your back, or would struggle to keep your feet on the pegs, it would not be suitable.
Our Verdict
The original eFoldi Explorer was a great stride forward for folding scooters - incredibly light, yet still offering impressive performance. We would now normally recommend the newer eFoldi Lite instead - it is even lighter and easier to fold. However, if you need an 8 mph top speed from your folding scooter and a little more outdoor capability from a rugged folding scooter, the eFoldi Explorer is the one to get.
