We were recently contacted by Rosie, a tireless advocate for Back Up Trust, who after suffering a spinal cord injury herself turned to Back Up Trust and they helped give her everything she needed to get back up and live life to the fullest. She asked for a couple of wheelchairs for an event she was holding for spinal cord injury awareness day.
The Back Up Trust is an amazing charity which provides those who have been affected by Spinal Cord Injuries with support and services to help them transform their lives and rebuild their confidence and regain their independence.
We gave Rosie the chairs so she could raise awareness through the ‘spend a day in a wheelchair’ initiative where people get an understanding of how those who use wheelchairs live, travel, do their shopping and work.
